I don’t know if it’s just because I could really vibe back and forward with a friend while reading this book, but I enjoyed every page. 

The fucked up mom role and the ending of it made me violently (hehe) sob as it ended as it would be exactly what you want to hear in that situation, without giving away too much. Just hearing a narcissistic mom say how she is proud of her kids of her death bed and how she is gonna reunite with the love of her life fucking teared me apart.

As well this book made me realise how Violet has so many quirks I can see myself in. If only I could ride a dragon and like actually feel an effect by my strength training as she does lol
