Very well written book about a young man who is a child prodigy who loves to anagram who's become worried he's "over the hill" and will never fulfil the promise that he might be a genius someday. We follow him, his friend (one of the few Muslim characters I've ever read in a book and, a character who quickly became my favourite in the book. I really found him very endearing and interesting.) The two boys take a road trip to help our child prodigy cope with his existential angst, and with being dumped by his girlfriend--the 19th girl in a row he's dated that has been named "Katherine".

Odd premise, but it worked. Their adventure was fun and interesting. They meet interesting people, and learn interesting things about life. Colin tries to develop a math formula to predict who will get dumped in a relationship... and the girl they befriend tries to help him.

Very enjoyable read.

Highly recommended.
