5.0

My first 5 star of the year! Stay With My Heart was a breath of fresh air.

Tashie Bhuiyan knows how to write an enthralling story from start to finish. This was my first novel from this author and I absolutely loved it.

Liana Sarkar was an endearing character. On the brink of adulthood, grieving the loss of her mother, and trying to find a way to get her dad to notice her, she really dug a hole for herself and others around her. But, her desire to help right her mistakes really won me over.

Skyler Moon was definitely a swoonworthy character. I was cheering for these two the whole time. Their bond made my heart so happy.

Each chapter title was a song title and artist, and there were so many playlists to explore. I think that is especially fun for those readers who enjoy listening to music while reading to create a vibe.

Read if you love: found families, enemies to lovers, diverse characters, sweet romance, coming of age stories, music, Taylor Swift
