This novella mainly focuses on a short period of this young girls life and the struggles she has to go through due to the abilities a mysterious seed bestowed on her. Outside of following her tail of survival, the world is interesting with a near future setting. The other characters though fall flat, as they are not the point of the story and there is not enough time to get attached to any of them. I plan to read more full sized novels in settings like this, as I’d love to have more time in the world. I read this in audio and highly recommend that medium for this.
