Omg I was OBSESSED with this book. Adrian, Vanessa, and baby Grace were absolutely adorable. Their meet cute has been one of my absolute favorites of all time. I loved the mental health rep as well as the ALS rep. Seeing Vanessa and Adrian become friends and an adorable little family unit including the geriatric chihuahua was actually hysterical. Watching Vanessa plan out her bucket list and essentially her death was very eye opening. But i absolutely LOVED Adrian and how he started to open up to Vanessa’s way of life and her bright personality. And helped her with the goals she had for her family. You could see in the little things he did how he was always there for her and baby grace. I actually understood the 3A breakup and wasn’t upset at all that it happened. It made complete sense and made the ending soooooo much sweeter. Speaking of the ending I’m obviously not going to spoil it HOWEVER……The beach scene at the end will live rent free in my brain for years to come.

FAVORITE QUOTES:

“Sometimes I feel like I’m spinning. Like I’m in a tornado and I can’t ever stop moving and the only time I feel still is when I’m with you.”

“You are the flood, Vanessa. You pour into me, washing away everything that I used to think mattered and then filling me up to the top until I’m drowned in nothing but you.”

“You’re my soul mate. I’ll find you in the next life. Like I found you in this one.”
