It pains me to say that this book fell quite flat of my expectations. Based on reviews and recommendations from friends and family I was expecting an emotional, descriptive story that left you reeling and unable to forget this amazing story.
Unfortunately I was left with the feeling that I had read a different book. While certain parts were hard to read I found there was an overall lack of detail that could have elevated this story so much more. Combined with the feeling that the flow of the story was very choppy in terms of sentence structure, I regretfully have to rate it quite low.
