It's definitely a very easy, leisurely read but I just felt like something was missing. I know the Netflix adaption is very different plot-wise but the show is getting a second season and I feel that perhaps the book could use a follow-up as well. I want to clarify that I did enjoy reading it, I just feel like something was missing or just off about it and I would have liked to have seen more character development from all three in the main character trio and for some of the "side" characters as well.

There are pretty significant differences in the book as compared to the popular Netflix adaptation. The tea pot doesn't exist in the book. Also, from what I remember of the show, there are scenes that were with Alex actually occur with Cole and vise versa.
