So this is the book we start to meet a lot of new Characters.
After a battle and realizing she’s Fae and who she truly is , Chaol is feeling some Type of way towards Aelin . Their relationship is strained and pretty much done . He sends her away to keep her safe and her to go find her Fae Aunt and get some answers .
Dorian still having a battle with himself and his magic , he confides in a healer , Sorsha , and they began a romance.
We meet the Witch Manon and her clan they are all having a witch battle and training and picking their dragons she is very strong leader and very fierce and I can see her care, her grandmother is in charge of the black beak clan , So Manon has to be that way as well but there’s a little good in her
Aelin meets Prince Rowan ( insert swoon here ) giant sexy Fae warrior who is to train her . Fuck yes y’all we are ready . They smart mouth each other and play so hard to get .
They find an army of Vogg creatures ran by the king infesting the half Fae to start a war .
The king finds a spy for the revel revolt in his kingdom , He blaMes Sorsha , Dorian can’t believe it and defends her . It is true and the king slays Sorsha and Dorian is left torn once again .
The kings places a collar on Dorian and he is over taken by the darkness .
Chaol is supposed to return to his home lands
Aelin and Rowan want to return because they know they battle is coming .... she returns alone w pledge to be there for Rowan and him for her , so he wait until he’s needed .
The war has just began .....
