I remember when I first saw this book and read the synopsis, I was stoked to read it. Who wouldn’t love a thriller about an all girls boarding school where someone gets murdered?? But did I actually end up loving it?

Sarah Taylor is a scholarship kid at the elite St. Ambrose school. An all girls boarding school for the rich. Sarah doesn’t fit in with the school or her classmates and she suffers from a mental disorder that she would like to keep secret. Upon arrival she meets the Regina George of St. Ambrose, Greta Stanhope and for some reason, she’s determined to make Sarah’s life hell. Before the year is out, someone is murdered. Who was it?

I can tell you right now that this book was just ok to me. I had super high hopes for it and it didn’t fulfill them. It didn’t give me Heathers, Mean Girls or Heartbreakers thriller vibes, it was just ok. It was very slow to me throughout the entire book. It took me 2 weeks to push through this book and I liked the story but felt like it could’ve been told in way less than 356 pages.
