I absolutely devoured this book and could not put it down. YA is usually not for me but Julie Soto sure is.

Vaguely: this book follows a group of five friends who would not say that they are a clique but their school sure would. When a student at their school dies, the friend group becomes the center of the police investigation. Not only that, but they are also pretty sure the deceased is visiting them from the afterlife. This book is a YA thriller/mystery that sucked me!

Reading this book was reminiscent of the enjoyment I got the multiple times I have watched Pretty Little Liars. This book is a perfect balance between addressing difficult topics within our society while also unfolding them within a novel that is meant to provide an enjoyable reading experience. I really enjoyed this and would recommend it but please check TW!
