Oyeyemi contorts my mind. i feel like this piece is nicely in conversation with some other pieces i've read, like Ozeki's The Book of Form and Emptiness in thr way it thinks about how stories come to be, and how they're live wires, andmaybe how they are reaponsive to the reader/listener.
