I received the audiobook of this early as part of a pre-order deal, so I had the privilege of getting to listen to Hollywood Heroes early.
This book takes some popular Hollywood movies and looks at them through a Christian lens and tries to pull "sermon illustrations" from these stories. Turek does a fantastic job at relating Christ to these very secular storylines and showing how we can see Christ in these heroes.
I especially enjoyed the Harry Potter section of this book since it is one of my favorite stories. Turek discusses the battle of good vs. evil as well as the death and resurrection story that is built up throughout the story.
This book is another fantastic resource created by Turek and recommend it to anyone who likes the stories discussed in this book.
