Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton

4.0

Addie is a indie book writer that moves back to her great-grand parents home, which she inherited from her grand mother when she died. She spent many years there with het grandparents and she has decided to live there and write her next book. Addie believes the house is haunted as she has seen and heard things in the home.
While at a book signing she catches the eye of a very dangerous man and he has set his sights on her. This man stalks Addie, she is his little mouse and he is never letting go. Addie also discovers a murder took place in her house and she’s determined to find out why.

I don’t think this dark romance is my vibe. This book is just ok for me, while I did enjoy some of the spicy scenes, it took me a while to get invested in this. I will read the second because I need to see what happens next.
Zade is starting to grow on me, perhaps by the end of it all I’ll love him like everyone else.
