Enigma

This was my first time experiencing RuNyx’s storytelling.
The plot was intricately layered, occasionally dipping into overly detailed passages, which might be expected given the length of the book. Still, it never felt slow or disjointed. In fact, the story flowed remarkably well and kept me engaged from start to finish.

What stood out to me most was the dynamic blend of mystery, romance, spice, and just the right pinch of humor. It ticked several boxes without feeling like it was trying too hard. Even though this is the only book my library currently carries from RuNyx, I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more of her work.
As for the narration, Jaclyn Kelso handled most of the heavy lifting and delivered a strong performance. However, I’ve always been a fan of Aiden Snow, and hearing his voice here was an absolute treat, he’s one of those narrators who instantly pulls you into the world, and I love hearing him in the spicy scenes 😜
A gripping listen, overall. If you're into sultry suspense with sharp writing and character-driven charm, Enigma is worth your time.
