This book was so powerful and important to consume. I’m glad that I went the route of audiobook so that I could hear it in Chanel’s voice because I feel like that added an extra element that I wouldn’t have had in a physical or ebook.
My only qualms with the writing is the language being heavily geared towards woman as the victims. I would have liked to have heard that being more inclusive because it’s not just women, but I digress. This book is still an important look behind the curtains into the reality of what it’s like to survive being sexually assaulted.
