A smooth little triptych on misogyny that doesn't waste a word. The dynamics of women and men are immensely layered even in these short stories. CK is a master at cinematic brevity. So Late In The Day was complicated. The Long and Painful Death was righteous. Antartica was haunting. Recommend reading Small Things Like These and Foster before picking this one up.
