Forget You Know Me by Jessica Strawser

2.0

2.5 out of 5 stars.
I won this ARC from a Goodreads giveaway. The book releases on Febuary 2019. I was excited when I won this book because I really enjoyed Jessica Strawser's previous book, "Not That I Could Tell". So it's sad to say what a dissapoinment this book was for me.
I was expecting a thriller because, to me at least, it seem like it was advertised in that way. Instead this book is more of a domestic drama. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy domestic drama too but that wasn't what I was expecting.
There is basically 3 main characters in this story, Liza, Molly and Daniel. You get to follow the friendship between Liza and Molly and the marriage between Molly and Daniel. Molly is on the brink of losing her friendship with Liza and her marriage to Daniel. The way Molly treated Liza got me so mad and irritated with her. Like, how ould you treat your best friend that way! A lot of the choices that Molly was making was irritating me, honestly. And Daniel was another one that was irritating. I think Liza was the character I liked out of those 3. There is a twist to this story but to me, it was predictable and it made no sense even after it was explained. The reason behind it was just, I don't know, just made no sense.
The author is a good writer but unfortnately, this book was just not for me. But if you like domestic drama, you might want to give this book a try. You'll probably like it more than I did.
