If you're going into this book, make sure you're wearing a necklace because the whiplash is insane!

I'll be honest and say that I wasn't really sure to start off with, I mean who just ups and leaves their life behind to follow a person they've only know a little while to start a new business, without any security?

That idea seemed crazy to me, but that was the least of the crazy 😅

Initially, the story is from Ella's point of view, and as the story progresses, we get the viewpoint of Harriet and Nisha.

As naive as Ella was in the beginning, she became resilient, brave, and resourceful, if not a little proud. She is also the only one out of the three that I actually liked and that I was actually rooting for. Everyone makes mistakes when they are young, but they have the right to grow and develop and learn, which is exactly what Ella does. Her character development shows, and she really didn't deserve what was happening to her.

Harriet and Nisha, however, are awful. Harriet went through something devastating, but to harbour all that rage and resentment must be exhausting, especially with how her life ended up anyway.

Nisha was a spoilt brat, and I hated her from the get-go! She was entitled and thought she was owed something that she had no right to.

I loved the ending. I was secretly hoping that it would end the way it did. For a book that was frustrating as much as it was twisty, the ending was perfect. But don't think that you have everything figured out because there are some surprises thrown in there that will have you second guessing what you're thinking.
