Unfortunately, this was just a real dud for me. I think that the world and story was good but it dragged in the last book and I started to find the characters slightly annoying which became a bit exasperating in this one. It’s a shame because I did genuinely enjoy the first two and I was enjoying this but I dreaded picking it up. It’s so long and from the third I’ve read, I’m really not sure it needs to be. I think I’ll come back to it at a later date but I just can’t commit to it right now and hate it sitting on my shelf.
