The Roommate Pact

This one on paper should have worked for me, but I ended up not really vibing with it. This is a roommates/friends with benefits to lovers romance that also has some caretaking in it. There was nothing glaringly wrong with this one, and I did like the female lead’s job as a nurse, however I just didn’t understand or feel the leads’ connection. I also felt like so much of the focus was on the physical. Because of that, I couldn’t buy in to the rest of the story. Plus, the male lead bothered me in subtle ways. This, sadly, was just not my thing, even if I could understand and appreciate what the author was trying to do. 🫂👥☁️
