It really took a while to set the context of the story, but once you get into the crux of it, the time really just flies and you want to finish it and find out more. There were also some storylines that didn’t make sense and was unnecessary but the main part about the main character’s life was really well-written.
This story is more than just a thriller.. it creates many reflection points on how we spend our lives on earth, emphasises turning points where if the main character made a different decision, things would be so vastly different, missed opportunities, unanswered questions, unresolved endings and also the different forms of love.
I would definitely reread this book for the writing and insightful points it was making - i rushed ahead quite a bit to try to find out more. The ending was also quite draggy, but it gives the reader time to stay in that fictional world and absorb the last of the wisdom the author was imparting.
