Wolf's Fall
by J.D. Tyler
I'm still pretty new to the Alpha Pack series but I'm absolutely loving it. I do recommend reading book five in the series because it provides needed background for Nick's plight, I would not consider Wolf's Fall a stand-alone. Nick may be the leader of Alpha Pack, an elite group of paranormal warriors, but he's feeling not only his years but he cannot forget the torture he was submitted to while held in captivity. So much so that when he encounters his bondmate, Calla, he does not know if he can even bond with her because he cannot stand the thought of a vampire sinking their teeth in to him. Calla was blessed to find a mate and after his death she never thought she'd be able to open up to love again but the sparks she feels with just one touch leads her to believe she can find happiness again. Except Nick is going to fight their bond every step of the way even with danger chasing them both. As threat after threat chase Nick and Calla through both their homes they fight not only for the lives of their people but for a second chance at love. Another great read in the series that makes me want to go back and tackle the first books in the series. Fun read!
