there were 106 (one hundred and six!!!!!!) ellipses within 51 pages. that’s averaging over two a page. but in reality, you would get a miraculous three-page break before getting curbstomped by ten within four lines of dialogue. literally choose any other punctuation mark that denotes a pause.
