The Wrong Highlander by Lynsay Sands

4.0

“Ah, hell,” Alick muttered behind them. “The women are thinking. Ye ken there’s always trouble when the women start in thinking.”

If you’ve read any of Lynsay Sands other Highlander novels, this one is cut from the same cloth.

In a case of mistaken identity, Lady Evina kidnaps Conrad Maclean thinking he’s the healer Rory to help with her ailing father. Whoops.

“I raised ye better than this, lass. Ye can no’ run about kidnapping naked men and bringing them home, no matter how handsome and strapping and well-hung they are.”

He gets over his kidnapping rather quickly, really it was just a misunderstanding. And then sparks fly between Conrad and Evina.

It’s cute and funny. If you’re wanting a light historical romance with some humor, this might be the book for you.
