It was tough to get through reading about the abuse and gaslighting by her family, especially considering it seems to be mainly written in her voice/emotions at the time these things occurred, never reflecting afterwards and placing these words on the actions of her family. As for the education part, as a previous homeschooler most of it was not that shocking lol
Also after adding content warnings realizing this has like everything under the sun
