A cool plot, seemingly high stakes, a fun quasi-zombie scenario, and some great art...
... and some very, VERY bad art. A couple of the middle issues look like amateur web comics. The shift in style isn't just jarring, it's almost embarrassing to look at. It gives the impression that the night before release they realized they forgot to draw the issue. And then they did it again in another.
Thankfully the last few issues revert to Fabok's awesome art, which gives the buildup to the finale the dire atmosphere it needs to make the concept work.
