I don’t read poetry so I didn’t feel like I got as much out of this one as someone else who’s more familiar with poetry could have but I still enjoyed it! Heartbreaking, for sure. Loved the imagery. Reading it from Jett’s point of view was interesting although I probably would have preferred Junior’s. Also - Jett’s father’s role seemed.. unnecessary? Idk
