The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
4.0

This one is really hard to rate for me! Parts of it I loved: The representation of Stella with Asperger's syndrome and Michael as Vietnamese both felt very natural and were woven into their character traits throughout the book, not just mentioned at the beginning and forgotten. The steamy scenes were very good (and very smutty) and I enjoyed the overall premise of the reverse Pretty Woman situation. But there were also parts that fell really flat for me: Michael was extremely possessive (I find a bit of possessiveness hot, but he tipped over into thinking he knew what was best for Stella too often for my liking.) There was also a strong case of insta-love from both characters and I thought the end conflict came about and wrapped up in a really odd way. I think I'm going to settle on a 3.5 and round up to a 4.

Overall I'd recommend this to anyone looking for some good steam and an (overall) sweet story. I'd definitely read something from Helen Hoang in the future!
