I’m revisiting some of my favorite childhood scary stories for spooky season this year.
This book was my favorite in this series as a kid and it was fun to revisit it. The stories aren’t particularly scary now as an adult but they’re still fun folk horror stories, with some added nostalgia attached, and the artwork (by Stephen Gammell) is absolutely amazing.
Unfortunately this book does feature one story with a slur (g slur).
