The Night Olivia Fell by Christina McDonald
3.0
This was a boring mystery. It didn't have any real twists, turns, or surprises. Everything unfolded slowly as I expected. Characters developed and had distinct personalities but weren't super interesting, and the setting could have been a character itself but that opportunity was missed.
Teens were portrayed as whiney and misunderstood in a one-dimensional way. Teens will enjoy the mystery more than adults, but I don't think this is a good book to recommend to them, even though about half of the book is in a teenager's voice.
