I don’t care what Sly’s crime was, I will not tolerate Sly slander. He stood on business and I was here for it. Vinnie though, she was pissing me off. I get it she didn’t want any harm to come to Sly but girl he is a grown 🍑 man and could take care of himself if you warn him but she chose to suffer in silence and give her life for his. Last book I thought for sure that one of her friends had told August and here I am, proven absolutely wrong. Those girls were true friends to Vinnie and it was great to read it.

I got beef with the entire Paladino family, except for maybe Luciano, he was always in Vinnie’s corner unlike her unhinged brother Joseph. I was not satisfied nearly enough with August & Joseph’s ending. I needed them to go through a lot more hell than they caused Vinnie because that girl didn’t deserve any of it… with a brother like Joseph, who needs enemies?

It’s a book written by A.R. Rose, of course I recommend it.
