Good Talk: A Memoir in Conversations by Mira Jacob

challenging emotional funny informative inspiring reflective sad tense fast-paced
I read this book because I kept seeing @lupita_reads post about it. I didn't know it was a graphic novel so that was the best surprise when I started it. This is one of the best books I have ever experienced in my life. Tackling the difficult subjects of being a first generation Indian in an interracial relationship and all the difficult" questions a child can ask. And then adding on the rise of DJT and his eventual presidential win and how complicated it is when family doesn't understand how their votes can hurt others in the family. WHEW! I read it in about two hours at 2 in the morning and I don't regret the lack of sleep at all. it's a beautifully written book, that articulated so much, and blew my mind wide open to things I didn't ever consider. I loved this book so much.
