i can’t even lie, this book put me off of age gap romances like this because i was honestly a bit disturbed. in the beginning the girls father killed her mother and the police came to save her. that same police man took her in and basically became her father. it wasn’t like a step dad or an uncle figure, like this man was basically her dad is everything but name. then she started hitting on him when she was 17 and he eventually went for it, the only reason i kept reading this book was because it has the daddy kink in it. everything else about it was weird, not to say that i didn’t enjoy it, but it was weird. in the end the mmc’s brother kidnapped and tried to kill the girl, but the mmc found her via a tracker in her necklace and they all lived happily ever after once they moved to a new state. nice but i’m raking a break from books like this, because i definitely got the ick from this one.
