I wanted to read this book because I read the first book in the series last year and everyone said this series just gets better and better. This storyline was predictable considering we’ve already met these characters in the previous books. I was really rooting for Christian Harper to be my favourite out of the Twisted series and the whole way through the book, I wanted to smack him.

This book has two points of view. The first is Christian Harper, he is charming, deadly and smart enough to hide it. He is a monster dressed in the perfectly tailored suits of a gentleman. He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can’t deny the strange pull he feels toward the woman living just one floor below him. She's the object of his darkest desires, the only puzzle he can’t solve. And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can’t refuse. Every monster has their weakness. Stella is his. His obsession, his addiction and his only expection. The second point of view is Stella Alonso, she is sweet, shy and introverted despite her social media fame, she is also a romantic who keeps her heart in a cage. Between her two jobs, she has little time or desire for a relationship. But when a threat from her past drives into the arms and the house of the most dangerous man she’s ever met. She’s tempted to let herself feel something for the first time in a long time. Because despite Christian’s cold nature, he makes her feel everything when she’s with him. Passionate. Protected and truly wanted. Theirs is a love so twisted with secrets and tainted by lies and when the truths are finally revealed, they could shatter everything.

I loved Stella in this book and the arc that she had standing up for herself against her family and knowing what she wants. I love the fact that Stella is the only one that can make Christian weak at the knees, and I hope one day I have that sort of power over a person. I love how within every book; I am so surprised by their sexual kinks. I thought Stella would be all vanilla and plain and yet all the kinks including the boat scene – like damn. I love the dual POVs within this series and this is gives so much more to a romance series. I loved seeing the girls back together and the lads having to deal with the girls and trying to be friendly with each other, but they all have little competitions like Alex and Christian’s chess matches. One of my favourite things in this book was the men winding up Christian because of his feelings and Christian just being in denial.

The only reason that it’s not five stars is the small chapters and the repeating information. This book did not need to be this long. I was more interested in the stalker and the leak than the romance at times and it was dragged on to the very last second. Also, the third act break up still drives me nuts and this one had no good reason for it like in Twisted Hate.

Overall, this series has been good, and I cannot wait to start the King of Sins series especially from the little snippets we got of Dante and Vivenne within this book.
