Ahhhh Swoon. (insert photo of me with hearts circling my head)
What a sweetheart Sawyer is….A hot, sexy sweetheart with a depth of character that will melt hearts.

CJ Bloom narrates Bristol Swift and Aaron Shedlock voices the rookie baseball player Sawyer Tom. Bristol is a woman who wants to be reserved and in control but is hiding her deep emotions. Bloom embodies that well. Her range of vocals, from men, to the elderly and other accents is stellar. Shedlock perfectly voices Sawyer and his female and child voices are very believable.

Although I haven’t read the first two books in the series I didn’t need to. Those characters were a part of this 3rd book but not in a way that detracted from the overall story. I never felt like I missed something. I’m excited to back track and read the other books.

I loved that Bristol and Moss aren’t playing games and are honest with each other and their feelings. Sawyers open heart is so refreshing for a male MC. I ate it up. Sometimes I felt that this story was a bit too perfect, but, you know, it’s a romance and that’s why I’m reading them… to be taken away on a perfect romantic ride. Up until the very end I was giving this the highest marks for a story that did not use cliché drama to grab all the feels. I loved that it is relatively low drama and low angst with an interesting story that kept me riveted the whole time. And so when the author threw in a grenade of sorts, at least in my opinions, it wasn’t necessary. Hence the 4 star rating instead of 5.

I definitely recommend this book/audio.
