Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver
3.0

The story was compelling, but I found myself getting irritated by the main character's frequent conviction that she "just knew" something was wrong. The twist at the end was a surprise and I'm not sure if it was entirely convincing. I'm tempted to go back and skim through the book again to see what I think now that I know the twist.

I generally love Lauren Oliver books, but I wasn't as crazy about this one as I have been about most of them. It's interesting and compelling, though, and I'm not sorry I read it.
