Carve the Mark
by Veronica Roth
I found this book very hard to get into at first, I described it to my colleague as "very sci-fi" with unusual names and ice planets and hover vehicles but I persevered and managed to get past those things and find the story. I found myself rooting for Akos & Cyra and wondering if one of them would die - the last time Ms Roth wrote a book from two peoples perspective one of them certainly did die. The end was a little abrupt but I can see there is still some mileage in the story so I will most likely read the next one and I thank my Good Reads news letter for alerting me to this one and the very efficient Dudley Library system for letting me get a hold of it quickly.
