Crazy House
by James Patterson
The tagline says “you can stop waiting for the next Hunger Games”, but this ain’t it. It’s not bad, but it’s hard getting through the bleak, frustrating bits to actually get to something enjoyable. It ends on a cliffhanger so if you’re wondering whether to stick it out, just remember, you’ve got at least one more book to get through.
Graphic: Child abuse, Confinement, Miscarriage, Forced institutionalization, Medical trauma
Moderate: Violence, Blood, Kidnapping, Grief, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Rape, Vomit, Suicide attempt
