Flappers and Philosophers by F. Scott Fitzgerald
2.0

I heard about his name mentioned briefly when I was in high school learning American Literature. Later, I encountered selections of his short stories in a test prep class that I was teaching. Now that I have read a few of his short stories, I would label it as the male version of Jane Austen. His stories are romantic, but they are paced just right for male readers. With the movie version of "The Great Gatsby" going to be out soon, I hope teens will discover his writings.
