Ok not only did this take me FOREVER to finish because of how dragged out certain moments were, but when I finally finished all I could think was, what was the point?  I honestly should have DNF’d this.

I had so many things that annoyed me throughout this. The FMC is one of the most naive and infuriating characters I have ever read to the point where I was almost in disbelief (winner goes to FMC from Spark of the Everflame).

I felt like there was a lot of focus on this mini moments with Finn and co and “Sebastian” but other areas lacked development/world building.

Also the fact that the FMC refuses to call her boytoy by his real name? Let’s add that to the list.

Her having feelings for Finn but treating him the worst even though boytoy straight up “cheated” on her in front of her. Add that to the list.

And did we really need to know that Finn was formerly in love with some girl named Isabella? No. Sorry. Let the past stay in the past just like the exes unless they are relevant to the plot.

And since everyone supposedly loved Oberon I am seriously side-eying some of the relationships in here. Oberon was the literal shadow daddy. Add that to the list.

Also the FMC making THAT decision in the end? Who didn’t see Princess Dumbass following her namesake?
