This was a good second instalment in the series.
Gwyn is such a fun, quirky, loveable main character. She is so brave and it was great seeing her throughout this book. Wells’ character progression throughout was also really really good, you could definitely see an improvement in him emotional from the start to the end of the book. The enemies to lovers trope in this was really enjoyable to read.
I also like how we still got the inclusion of Vivi and Rhys from the last book and saw how they are now.
The plot of this was interesting. I like the competitive store aspect, thought that could be quite funny. I also like the mystery as to why Gwyn’s magic isn’t working, I didn’t figure out the twist/ cause of it so that was really good
Can’t wait to see what the next book entails, we left this one where some kinda big events had happened and I wanna know how/ if that will appear in the next book
