In the Age of Love and Chocolate by Gabrielle Zevin

4.0

It is so hard to find a nice conclusion to a book series and I think this one hit all of the right flavors.

This is quite different from the previews series - the writing style, the flow of story and character development. This third installment felt like a condensed novel. It had the flow of novels like Daniel Steel's Jewels and Barbara Taylor Bradford's Woman of Substance.

I love the series although, plot wise it was very plain. I was afraid of not liking this book because I find the first few chapters to be easy. I was afraid the author would make Anya Balanchine's life easy and all success. Although this book made Anya's life look easy compared to the first two.

-- spoiler alert --
What I did not like is how the author had this single minded idea that there is only one person for Anya to love. So many great men she met and she just stuck to one because she did not feel the great love she felt with Wil? In my opinion, you should never expect the same love from different people.
