Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks

The book was a tear-jerker. It was achingly beautiful. A must read.

The story is about Theresa Osbourne, a columnist of Boston Times, a single mom with a son, found a letter written by a mysterious man named Garrett addressing to a woman named Catherine. She was touched with the letter as written and she shared it with her friend Deanna, suggesting her to write a column about it. It stood out that she received a lot of responses. Until she realized it wasn't a coincidence she found this letter, she received another letter from different people that was written with the same man, Garrett.

She took an opportunity to find Garrett, at first they were both uncertain if they were really in love each other as Garrett couldn't get over his grief and longing for his wife's death. It was hard for a person to move on if he/she lost someone they truly love. It takes time to heal and learn to move on. Tragic ending, the last letter was so..........Oh well you need a box of tissue paper. I just love it!
