Walden by Henry David Thoreau
2.0

In one word bohohohohoring! There are some redeeming features, especially his philosophical musings on what is really necessary for happy human life, but the monotony of his endless descriptions drown them. Thoreau defends a simpler way of living (alone), but much of that preference seems to come from misanthropy more than "love of nature"
