Matchmaking for Psychopaths
by Tasha Coryell
Overall I thought this book was okay. It was something different and even though I didn’t really feel invested in it, it still held my interest just enough to finish it. It was a good option to listen to at work but I don’t know if I’d necessarily recommend it.
I wish it had less internal monologues, as it did feel repetitive and didn’t really move the story along. Similarly, it also could have benefited from more “show don’t tell” to give some extra layers I felt were missing.
I also felt like the ending happened way too quickly. But I also clocked the murderer from the start so it was a lot of buildup and waiting for the big reveal just for it to be over almost immediately.
