I fell in love with this city and this family and I don’t want to leave.
The relationship between Jane and August is beautiful and I thought the character development was really well paced. I love the friendship group and found family aspect, and Jane. I think 70% of my annotations were about how much I fancy her haha.
I’m 50/50 with the ending, it’s definitely cute and tugs on your heart strings! But it would have been very interesting to see the alternative.
If you’re looking for a story that’s hilarious, LGBTQ+, has found family, and is a little heartbreaking, definitely give this a read.
