Fleshmarket Alley: An Inspector Rebus Novel by Ian Rankin
4.0
Another fantastic effort by Ian Rankin in th4 Inspector Rebus series.
With immigration issues at the forefront, the Edinburgh inspector works to solve one murder, while another murder as well as a few other odd incidents take up his time and that of co-worker Siobahn Clarke and other Edinburgh authorities.
The term "fleshmarket" takes on multiple meanings in this novel rife with unearthed skeletons, trips to pubs and strip clubs, and investigations of fraud, sexual assault, and other shenanigans.
Well told, hard to put down.
