"Blue," he warned, but his voice was chaotic. This close, his throat was scented with mint and wool sweater and vinyl car seat, and Gansey, just Gansey.
She said, "I just want to pretend. I want to pretend that I could."

This series just seems to go from strength to strength; although it's not quite as plot heavy as I would've expected, the entire thing is held together by the compelling cast of characters. The found family, which is only growing ever larger, continue to fascinate me and I'm rooting for most of them. Gansey and Blue didn't disappoint when it came to their yearning and developing relationship that is haunted by the ever creeping shadow of death. And I need Adam to at least know about Ronan's feelings.

Persephone's death seemed unnecessary - it reminded me of Kavinsky's death; there was really no reason for it

... Gansey making tea in the microwave horrifed me (-0.25 stars)
