This could have been much better than it was, although I still enjoyed it. Mostly, I think she needed to cut 50% of her subplots and focus on 2-3 POVs. By the end of the book, I felt frustrated at not receiving a satisfying explanation for the laoli warehouse from book 1, the Queen of Khitan's motivations, Royo's father, or why Fallador and Gambria were doing anything they did, ever. It really felt like she had a much longer series with tons of intrigue planned, and then last minute decided to wrap things up as quickly as possible. It would also have been nice to have longer chapters from fewer characters' POVs. My choice would have been just to hear from Aeri and Mikail, since they were the most dynamic characters in this book.
All that said, I still had fun, I liked some of the things she did, and chapter 77 was really lovely (although wayyyyyyyyy too short, come on).
