It's a book of magic realism so expect the ending to be very astounding one that we don't usually expect. The plot is however well disclosed from the very beginning that Santiago Nasar is to die but still the interest never falters with how Márquez keeps the information be served before us piece by piece. The confusion with why Santiago Nasar has to die to realise that he is better off dead is a beautiful journey all together. Enjoy reading
